AppAssure Software was founded by veterans in the Windows application and storage spaces in 2005 with the goal of providing innovative and next generation business continuity and disaster recovery solutions for mission-critical Microsoft applications.
AppAssure understands the importance of business applications such as Microsoft Exchange, BlackBerry Enterprise Server, SQL Server, SharePoint and many other Windows application servers that comprise the infrastructure that keeps businesses running 24/7. In 2008, AppAssure Software received a "Series A" investment by Bain Capital Ventures. The funding is enabling AppAssure to continue investing in research and development to expand the scope of the Replay™ product family. Additionally, the funding enables the company to continue providing personalized support and service to its rapidly expanding customer base.

As a Microsoft partner, AppAssure has attained elite status, being designated as a "high potential managed partner" with gold certification. Together, our two companies develop and market MailRetriever for Microsoft DPM.
