Exchange Server protection from Bare-Metal to E-mail Message Replay continuously captures all volume changes for entire Exchange Servers, Exchange 2007 Role Servers and Domain Controllers, and creates system-wide recovery points every 15 minutes.

Instant Replay Replay can roll back the entire server, individual volumes, storage groups, data stores, or e-mail message in minutes, regardless of the size of the data set. Additionally captured Exchange databases are guaranteed to mount after rollback.

E-mail Message Recoveries Replay can restore individual mailboxes, e-mails, calendars, notes, and tasks directly to the live Exchange Server and without copying the data store to a recovery storage group.

System Recoveries Replay supports system-level recoveries to any point in time quickly and easily. This feature is invaluable in case of a hardware or system-level software failure.

Data Mining, Email searching, Exchange Maintenance Replay presents virtual views into recovery points in the form of a standard Windows NTFS volumes. This feature is extremely useful for data mining, e-mail searching and Exchange maintenance purposes.

Data Store Integrity Checking Replay offers 2 modes of integrity checking:

MountabilityTest - Performs an offline ESE mount of the database and rolls all of the outstanding logs to ensure that the data store mountable.

Physical Check-Performs a page by page validation of the data store and optionally truncates logs.

Migration, Server Unfold Replay recovery points can be replayed back to standby servers or new virtual machine environments for migration and testing purposes.

Eliminate Backup Windows The Exchange server is protected continually throughout the day, eliminating the backup window for even the largest enterprise Exchange environments.

Eliminate brick level backups Replay provides E-mail-level recoveries in minutes, by opening offline data stores directly. Thus with Replay, you no longer need to perform brick-level backups.

Log Truncation Replay off-loads the data store integrity checks from the Exchange server to the Replay server, thus eliminating the processing load from the production server. When the initial recovery point is created, Replay validates each page within the data store. On subsequent recovery points, Replay validates the changed pages only, dramatically reducing the time it takes to perform data store integrity checks. If the data store is corruption-free, the Exchange logs are truncated on the live Exchange server.

Retention Policies Replay automatically retains the lifespan of a recovery point as defined by your retention policy. Retention policies can be customized to suit your needs.

Unlimited number of recovery points Replay offers an unlimited number of recovery points that can be used for disaster recovery, high availability, and testing and data mining purposes.

Scalable Because Replay captures the entire Exchange environment at the volume block level and makes a virtual incremental image of the entire server for every recovery point, its impact on performance is negligible (1-2%).
