AppAssure Protects GE Healthcare Centricity with Affordable Backup & Disaster Recovery Solution

Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Barry Jalbert works to stay ahead of the technology curve by using Replay 4, with SEUC’s primary facility and three remote offices. With 120 users, two websites (one with a patient portal) and about 19 servers (including a virtual server) Jalbert was always concerned about the traditional tape backup solution they were using. With SEUC’s medical and management recording done electronically on the GE Healthcare system, if a server went down, everything basically stopped: SEUC staff couldn’t look at records, doctors weren’t able to look at a patient’s history in order to make diagnoses, and surgeries couldn’t be scheduled.
