Dr. Subhash C. Agrawal
Dr. Agrawal is an accomplished software engineer, scientist, inventor, leader, and engineering executive. He has led many small and large teams to create commercially successful, enterprise-class software products. He is currently a Technology and Engineering Management Consultant for several venture firms and technology companies and as CEO of S-Wave Corp, he is focusing on increasing ATM profitability. He was Vice President of Engineering for PATROL enterprise system management products at BMC Software. During his engineering leadership, annual revenue for PATROL grew to $375M.
Dr. Agrawal began his career at BGS Systems, Inc. and created BEST/1, a leading capacity management solution for distributed systems. BGS Systems was acquired by BMC Software for $300M. Dr. Agrawal also led software engineering at Axiowave Networks as Co-founder and VP of Software and at Cylant, Inc. as CTO and VP of Engineering.
Dr. Agrawal received his B.E. (honors) in Electronic Engineering from BITS in Pilani, India, M.S. in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology, and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Purdue University. BITS awarded him the University Gold Medal for being First in the Class of 1979. The MIT Press published his Ph.D. thesis as a Distinguished Dissertation. Purdue University honored him as a Distinguished Alumni. He has received the Best Paper Award at several conferences. He has served on Editorial Review Boards of several conferences and has been an active member of several industry groups including IEEE, ACM and CMG. He holds 4 patents and has 3 pending.

Bob Gagnon
Bob Gagnon brings over 15 years of channel sales, general management, and product marketing software experience to the AppAssure Advisory Board. He is currently the VP of Sales for AVG Technologies USA where he is responsible for AVG’s North American P&L, which is mainly driven through AVG’s thousands of channel partners. AVG has consistently been one of the top downloaded security software products on Download.com and currently boasts over 120M users. Under Bob’s leadership at AVG, channel revenues have resulted in sequential growth quarter over quarter and are now recognized as one of the leading SMB desktop security products in North America. Prior to AVG, Bob drove the SMB Partner Program, Dell, online consumer and retail channels, and channel operations for Acronis, Inc. Under Bob’s leadership, he led Acronis True to claim the #1 selling consumer backup product in the retail market through accounts such as Geek Squad and Staples. Prior to Acronis, Bob served as VP Channel Sales North America for Grisoft, Inc where he first help launch AVG Antivirus into North America. He has also held senior sales, marketing, and operations positions with Datawatch, Software AG, NetManage, Corporate Software, Tech Data, and PC Connection.

Carol Meyers
Carol Meyers is the former chief marketing officer for LogMeIn (Nasdaq: LOGM) where she launched the company’s first social marketing and branding initiatives, as well as the LogMeIn iPhone application, making it the top grossing business application in the iTunes app store. She optimized paid search marketing saving millions of dollars, delivering corporate profitability and paving the way for a successful IPO in 2009. Prior to LogMeIn, Meyers was chief marketing officer for Unica Corporation (Nasdaq: UNCA), At Unica, Meyers played a pivotal role in growing the company’s revenue from $3M in 1999 to over $100M in 2007 and establishing the category of Enterprise Marketing Management software. During Meyers’ tenure, Deloitte and Touche ranked Unica one of the fastest growing technology companies in North America each year and CRM Magazine named Unica the leader in marketing software for four consecutive years (2004–2007).
Meyers has more than twenty years of finance, marketing and sales experience, acquired at leading companies such as General Electric, Lotus, Shiva, and Intel. She was a member of the Operating Committee for the DMA’s Marketing Technology Council, the CMO Council, and the Conference Board’s Council of Marketing Executives II. She has served on the boards of AIM, the Association for Interactive Marketing, and MITX, the Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange. Meyers is a frequent speaker on the topics of brand, marketing measurement, technology, privacy, and sales and marketing integration. She has been quoted in nearly every major marketing publication in the US and UK.
In addition to AppAssure, she currently sits on the advisory boards of Virtual Computer, SocialRep and Memento Security.

Anthony H. Rickertt
Tony has been a business lawyer with DLA Piper for more than 25 years. He focuses his practice in the areas of private equity, mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings of securities, commercial transactions, and the general representation of emerging businesses. He is co-chair of the firms’ Private Equity Practice Group.
Tony received his law degree in 1981 from Georgetown University Law Center, magna cum laude, and a B.A. in Economics in 1977 from the University of Maryland, cum laude.

Paul Robichaux
Paul is a founding partner of 3Sharp, a privately held technical services company founded in 2002. 3Sharp specializes in enhancing its customers’ businesses by helping them make the most effective use of the robustness, flexibility, and native capabilities of Microsoft communication and collaboration technologies.
Paul is a Microsoft Exchange MVP and a well-known speaker and writer. He is the author of Managing Microsoft Exchange Server, Secure Messaging with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, and co-author of the Exchange Server Cookbook.
Paul is also a senior contributing editor for Windows IT Pro magazine, a blogger, and a frequent speaker at technology conferences like TechEd and Exchange Connections. Paul lives with his family in Ohio.

Dr. Srinidhi Varadarajan
Dr. Varadarajan received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the State University of New York, Stony Brook in 2000. He is the Director of the Center for High-End Computing Systems at Virginia Tech and an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science. Dr. Varadarajan is the recipient of the ComputerWorld Honors Award in the Science Category 2004, the CAREER award from the National Science Foundation, the New Century Technology Council Technology Innovation Award and a Faculty Fellow award from the College of Engineering, Virginia Tech.
In 2004, he was honored by MIT Technology Review as one of the top 100 (TR100) young innovators transforming technology. Dr. Varadarajan is the architect of System X, the 2200 processor System X supercomputer located at Virginia Tech.
