DocRetriever Release Notes

This document outlines a several important notices that you should be aware of as you install, configure and begin using DocRetriever 2.6. Issues Resolved In This Release

9373 – Duplicate values of the Multi Choice field types of the custom item appear after restore.
9277 – Unable to merge objects containing “resource” prefix when restoring to SP2010.

8070 – DR unable to proceed if the settings.xml file is empty.
8000 – Recurring events show start time mismatch when restored.

7485 – Some hidden columns become visible after restoring a library view.
7805 – Intermittent error at the last step of the configuration wizard.
7990 – The “verifying connection” process in restore wizard cannot be cancelled.
7957 – Custom content types and custom fields are not restored.
7955 – The inability to create a display name for a field is not noted in the error log.
7931 – Additional Group Attributes are not restored.
7859 – Improve content type processing for more efficient restore for MOSS 2007 and SPS 2010.
7766 – The DR Service user should be added to the site collection before creating a sub-site.

Known Issues

• Windows Internal Database is not supported as the local database for DR console
• Sites and sub-sites templates (top and left-hand side navigation links and web parts) are restored as default templates for the type of site being restored.
• Web parts are currently not restored
• Deleted items if selected for restore are restored as undeleted
• Lookup fields are not restored

Keep in mind

• If your document is corrupted and you are building search index using DR, this document will be skip during search.
• There are some list presents in site that DR skipped during restore because they are undeletable. And if you are using “overwrite” option – these lists merged, if “skip” option they are just skipped
