Share Your Backup and Recovery Stories
Share Your Backup & Recovery Stories Among the strongest educational resources we have is one another. There’s invaluable benefit to be found in the experiences we share as professionals. Who’s had the best success with which product? What are the gotchas I should know about that might not jump off the page in the documentation? Who has horror stories to share of weekends at work during an outage? Of flooded data centers? Or even worse – data lost forever? It may not be the most fun to relive data center disasters – but there’s tremendous value to be found in the experience. Fortunately, many of you have already begun to share your stories with the community-at-large. You do so every day in forums and user groups around the web and around the world. We feel particularly lucky that many of you have started to share your stories with us, too. You can find the success stories of many of our customers in the Resources section of our site. We’d love to hear from more of you though. Tell us about the impact of your last outage. How long did it take to get back online? How much data was lost? What are you going to do to ensure it doesn’t happen again? Send us an e-mail at leadgeek@appassure.com or find us on Twitter anytime. We’ll help you share your story, so that others can benefit from your experience. And as a bonus, we’ll give away a Backup Hero t-shirt to the first 25 people to respond with their backup & recovery horror stories.
