It is necessary to mount the recovery point in order to restore a volume or item from a protected server. Follow the directions below to learn how.

  1. Select a Recovery Point from the Recovery Point Tab and right-click Mount.
  2. Select the mount point options. The default is to mount the recovery point to a directory on the C: drive. (The mount will not consume disk space.)
  3. If you plan to modify the recovery point, select the Mount writable option. The default is a read-only view.

NOTE: If you select the writable option, dismounting the recovery point will discard any changes made.

  4. Select the Network Share option if you would like to share the view with other users.
  5. Select Hyper-V compatible mount if mounting VHD files from within a recovery point.
  6. Click OK to complete the mount.
